PREDICTED FINISH TIME:
2:00:00, but I'll just be excited to finish!

WHY IS THE CHICAGO HALF MARATHON A SPECIAL RACE FOR YOU?
It will be my first race, so finishing something I've never done before and the fact that I am running for Chiropractic, which I am very passionate about, is very special to me. Also, my Aunt recently passed away of cancer and in my heart she'll be the person that I'll really be thinking of as I push myself along through the race. Cancer has been a great challenge for the women in my family and doing the Chicago Half Marathon is a good way for me to encourage myself and the rest of my family to be healthy.

WHAT MADE YOU SIGN UP TO RUN 13.1 MILES?
I am a runner and I really do enjoy it, but because I am a full-time student I wasn't sure if I would be able to commit so much of my time to really training for a full marathon.

WHAT TRIMESTER ARE YOU IN AT PALMER? WHAT MADE YOU ATTEND CHIROPRACTIC SCHOOL?
I am in my 5th trimester at Palmer and I actually became interested in Chiropractic after I had some work done on my horse and saw the amazing results. Animals don't lie and when they are hurting or feeling good it shows.

WHAT IS ON YOUR IPOD WHEN YOU ARE TRAINING?
Anything that has a good beat that gets me pumped up!

DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS?
Well I've never run a race before, but what I have been telling myself is to just try and keep going. Stopping can cause you to lose your momentum and once you stop it is harder to get back going again!
